Orthodontics is the field of dentistry that specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and facial irregularities (anomalies – dental and skeleton).

An orthodontist is a dentist who has successfully completed three-year postgraduate studies at the Department of Dentistry after graduation at Faculty of Medicine and stomatological practice.
